Exercise Groups Continued to be Enjoyed

Kimberley's Exercise Groups

Kimberley’s physio team have created a great exercise program promoting health and fitness for our residents. Our physio, Michelle runs the weekly group on Friday mornings which has proved to be very enjoyable and stimulating for all who attend. In addition to our weekly exercise programs our Diversional Therapy department have implemented a daily physical movement classes for residents to attend and participate.

The team at Kimberley are always looking for new ways to promote physical activities, social events and mental stimulation for our residents and have developed a new game called Ping-Pong. It requires participants to bounce a ball into a basket. Residents have 6 balls each. Each ball has a number which adds to their total score. The competitiveness and fun this game has created is great. Participants cheer each other on in an engaging atmosphere and provide an opportunity for residents to actively socialise in a group setting.
